Acetat – Kunst Seide - der feine Stoff für edle Kleidung
Acetat wird aufgrund der weichen Struktur und des matten Schimmers auch als Kunstseide bezeichnet und eignet sich besonders gut als Futterstoff sowie für elegante Kleidung und Kleidungsstücke wie Kleider oder Blusen. Acetatfasern bestehen aus dem natürlichen Grundstoff Zellulose. Der Rohstoff für Acetat ist natürlichen Ursprungs – er wird aus Fasern aus Holz gewonnen. Das meist aus dem mitteleuropäischen Raum stammende Buchenholz wird für die Herstellung verwendet. Im Herstellungsprozess wird die Zellulose aus Holz mit Essigsäure teilweise verestert. In einer chemischen Reaktion entstehen so die Acetatfasern. In Aceton werden diese zu einer Spinnmasse gelöst, die im sogenannten Trockenspinnverfahren durch Düsen geschossen zu Acetatgarn verarbeitet wird. Aus Acetat gefertigte Kleidung wird im Schonwaschgang bei 30 Grad gewaschen, ist schnell trocknend. Da Acetat hitzeempfindlich ist, ist der Stoff nur bei niedrigen Temperaturen bügelbar. Acetat ist knitterarm und formbeständig. Der Textilstoff hat feine und weiche Fasern. Acetat-Kleidung hat ein geringes Gewicht ist glatt und glänzend – und ähnelt damit Seide. Kleidung aus Acetat wirkt durch den schönen Glanz besonders edel.
Polyester – dreimal feiner als Seide
Polyester ist eine Chemie- und Microfaser und besteht aus Polyethylenterephthalat. Polyesterfasern weisen die höchste Reiß- und Scheuerfestigkeit aus und sind in vielen Bereichen beliebt. Der synthetische Stoff ist dreimal feiner als Seide und sehr pflegeleicht, bügelfrei, formstabil, elastisch, knitterarm, weich, licht- und wetterbeständig. Die Kunstfaser ist hitzebeständig, gut waschbar und schnell trocknend. Polyester ist im Glanz und Griff vergleichbar mit Seidengewebe. Durch die Verbindung mit Naturfasern wie Wolle oder Baumwolle entsteht ein elastisches aber zugleich stabiles Gewebe.

Polyester (PL)
Polyester (PL) is a chemical and microfibre and is made of polyethylene terephthalate. Polyester fibres have the highest tear and abrasion resistance and are popular in many areas. The synthetic fabric is three times finer than silk and very easy to care for, non-iron, dimensionally stable, elastic, crease-resistant, soft, lightfast and weather-resistant. The synthetic fibre is heat-resistant, easy to wash and dries quickly. The sheen and feel of polyester is comparable to silk fabric. Combining it with natural fibres such as wool or cotton creates a fabric that is elastic but stable at the same time.
Acetat (AC)
Acetate (AC) is also known as artificial silk due to its soft structure and matt sheen and is particularly suitable as a lining fabric and for elegant clothing and garments such as dresses or blouses. Acetate fibres consist of the natural raw material cellulose. The raw material for acetate is of natural origin and is obtained from wood fibres. Clothes made of acetate are washed in a gentle cycle at 30 degrees and dry quickly. As acetate is sensitive to heat, the fabric can only be ironed at low temperatures. Acetate is crease-resistant and keeps its shape. The textile fabric has fine and soft fibres. Acetate clothing has a low weight is smooth and shiny - and thus resembles silk. Clothing made of acetate has a particularly noble look due to its beautiful sheen.
