Mit unserem leichten Maco-Batist in schwarz aus Baumwolle lassen sich wundervolle Stücke oder Dekorationen kreieren, welche leicht aussehen sollen und nicht unbedingt massig wirken sollen. Maco-Batist ist ein sehr feinfädiger und dicht gewebter Stoff zum Nähen, Pikieren und Beheften. Dieser Stoff zeichnet sich durch seine dünne, zarte Beschaffenheit aus und bietet hohen Tragekomfort.
Als Batist bezeichnet man einen leichten, feinfädigen Stoff, welcher aus Baumwolle, Leinen und Seide, jedoch auch aus Chemiefasern wie Viskose hergestellt werden kann. Batist ist in Leinwandbindung gewebt.
Beim Pikieren von Mänteln, Jacken usw. steigert die zusätzliche Luftschicht die Wärme. Eine statische Aufladung wird durch Bügeln vermindert. Beim Nähen zieht sich die Naht durch die Stofflagen.
